Information regarding flight data that is provided by airlines and airports, is supplied from FlightStats, a data provider, which is ranked today as # 1 in its field.
Trips are monitored 48 hours prior to departure. This is done since flight information can be changed/updated several times before it departs.
If you find that flight data is missing or late, it is probably due to one of the following reasons:
- An airline occasionally provides data on its own website but not to the flight tracking industry. Some airlines provide no times for actual gate departure or gate arrival, and some airlines do not share data at all. Budget and Charter airlines tend not to share data or only share limited data, so we may not list the flight until near departure time.
- Gates and terminals are often not provided until approximately 60 minutes prior to departure. Some airlines (particularly non-U.S. carriers) do not share gate data with the flight tracking industry at all.
